Reselling DJI accessories: batteries, Goggles, controllers and bundles
Batteries, Goggles, controllers, hubs, bags and propellers: which DJI accessories hold their value, which to bundle, and which to recycle.

DJI accessories can make up a large share of a bundle’s value. A controller, an FPV mask or several healthy batteries reassure buyers and speed up the sale. Here’s how to decide what to sell with the drone, what to sell separately, and what to leave out of the lot.
The accessories that hold the most value
- DJI Goggles: strong value if the screens are clean, free of dead pixels, with straps and foam in good shape.
- Controllers: RC Motion, RC FPV and classic remotes sell well when compatibility is clearly stated.
- Smart batteries: real value if cycles are low, with no swelling or drop in range.
- Charging hubs: practical, especially bundled with several batteries.
- Official bags: little value on their own, but a great reassurance factor within a complete bundle.
Full bundle or separate sale?
Selling as a bundle is simpler: fewer messages, fewer shipments and a clearer price. Selling separately can bring in more if you have highly sought accessories, but it takes more time. If you use Dronex buyback, list every accessory you have: they can improve the quote or make the certified-used resale easier.
Batteries: value or risk?
A battery is a bonus only if it’s healthy. Swollen, damaged or unstable batteries should never be shipped or resold. For the others, state the compatible model, the cycle count if visible, and how they behave in flight. Good storage practices are covered in our DJI battery guide.
Goggles and controllers: checks before selling
- Power on the accessory and check the charge.
- Test the link with a compatible drone.
- Clean the foam, joysticks, USB-C ports and contact surfaces.
- Photograph the Goggles screen without glare if possible.
- Mention included accessories: cable, antennas, protection, box.
For an FPV bundle, the Goggles 3 and RC Motion 3 pairing makes the set easier to buy for a beginner. It’s also a good angle if you’re selling an Avata to move to a different setup.
Accessories not to overvalue
Worn propellers, scratched protectors, generic cables and little-known filters reassure buyers less. Keep them in the lot, but don’t use them to justify a big price gap. Value mostly comes from expensive, testable, compatible parts.
Frequently asked questions
Do DJI batteries resell well?
Yes if they’re healthy, not swollen, and compatible with a wanted model. State the cycle count and avoid selling a doubtful battery.
Should I sell DJI Goggles with the drone?
For an FPV bundle, yes: the lot is more coherent and easier to buy. If the Goggles are in high demand, a separate sale can sometimes fetch more.
Which DJI accessories add the most value?
Healthy batteries, Goggles, controllers, charging hubs and official bags add the most value, especially when clean and tested.
